Pet Ultrasound
Ultrasonography is a diagnostic procedure that uses ultrasonic waves to create an imaging study. This means that during ultrasonography, we can see internal images of the patient’s body. Unlike some other imaging techniques, such as x-rays, ultrasonography does not use radiation. Ultrasonography uses high-frequency sound waves to create a picture of what’s going on inside your pet’s body. Ultrasonography is a non-invasive, painless method of diagnosing and evaluating a wide variety of disorders.
